Why Supportive Group Talks for us with Alopecia?
As a certified CBT therapist and as a global DEI ambassador (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), I am used to facilitating difficult conversations in exclusion and diversity.
As a CBT therapist, I also have knowledge of tools and thought patterns that can help us feel better in our everyday lives. I myself have also received help from CBT several times in my life, including with my latest relapse of Alopecia Universalis, which I have now lived with for 8 years.
I want to offer group discussions for those of us who are affected by Alopecia to learn how to deal with both physical and practical aspects of the disease. The idea is that these discussion groups will be available in the future, but want to start with a test group to give input on the format and discussion topics.
